Native Foods Cafe - Chicago, IL (my review)

American, all vegan

This will be a short review since my dawg Kyle G. King has recently reviewed Native Foods for the blog. Read it here.

I went to Native Foods in Wicker Park, Chicago once so far. Instead of ordering from your table, you stand in line to order and pay for your food first; fast-food style. When I received my meal, my first impression was that it’s like the Chicago Diner, just slightly less cool. Their meals cost around $10, and DO NOT come with sides. (At the Diner, they’re around the same price and do include sides.) However, Native Foods has one daily special meal each day of the week, and this special does include a side.

Overall, Native Foods was pretty cool. But the main reason I would go back is because of the easily accessible location. (Also, Native Foods has several locations in Chicago and California. See website for details.)

Pictured below: BBQ Burger with side of fries (because it was the daily special) and Oklahoma Bacon Cheeseburger.
