The Chicago Diner - Chicago, Illinois

American, all vegan/vegetarian

I would say that this is the best food I have eaten in my life. It’s diner food, and the menu is mostly vegan. They have different specials everyday of the week. The last time I was there, I got a tempeh bacon Daiya cheeseburger. It came with fixings, bean sprouts, and a side item (I chose mac & cheese). It was $9 and it filled me up. Their milkshakes are the best you’ll ever have. Get the large for $6.50, you will not regret it. I like the chocolate peanut butter and cookies & cream the best. This place is definitely worth setting aside extra money for, so be ready to eat your fingernail clippings at the Indianapolis or Ohio show the day before.
